We are absolutely thrilled to share the success of our recent charity football tournament at Girdwood in North Belfast. This event was not only a brilliant day of sport and community spirit, but it also raised essential funds to support our youth and adult counselling service — a core part of what we do.
A huge thank you goes out to Karl McDowell, whose hard work and dedication made this event possible. Karl’s commitment to supporting local causes continues to inspire, and we are incredibly grateful for his ongoing support.
We’d also like to give a big shoutout to every single player who laced up their boots and got stuck in on the day — your energy and enthusiasm made the tournament and was good craic. And of course, a massive congratulations to Madigans, the champions of the day!
Special mention to our director, who was on the sidelines capturing all the action with a camera — and had to dodge the ball more than a few times in the process!
As a youth-led charity, we operate without government funding and receive no dedicated funding for our running costs. That means everything raised at events like this goes directly to keeping our vital services running, especially our free, accessible counselling support for young people and adults alike.
We’re proud to be rooted in the communities we serve, and events like this remind us just how much can be achieved when we come together. Thank you to everyone who supported the day — whether by playing, donating, cheering from the sidelines, or sharing the word.
We truly couldn’t do what we do without you.
